For the short film Black Forest, I worked as the colorist and VFX artist. I was faced with a challenging task of enhancing certain shots for our project. These shots required a significant amount of background clean up and fire addition to achieve the desired effect. Complicating the task was the fact that most of the shots were filmed using a shoulder mount, making it difficult to maintain steady camera movements and accurately track the footage. However, with careful attention to detail, I was able to enhance the footage by meticulously following the movements of the trees and surrounding environment, resulting in a seamless final product.
